SweepMe! 1.5.7.8 – Change Tracking, Plot Style Update, and Improvements
We are pleased to announce the release of SweepMe! 1.5.7.8, which brings several enhancements aimed at improving stability, usability, and clarity for professional measurement environments.
New Feature: Change Tracking for the Public SweepMe! Folder
With this release, we introduce Change Tracking for the Public SweepMe! folder – a feature designed to enhance reproducibility and protect against accidental modifications.
SweepMe! users frequently work with settings, custom drivers, and custom function scripts stored in this folder. Previously, these files lacked version control, making recovery difficult.
Change Tracking, now available to SweepMe! Pro subscribers, addresses this limitation by enabling file history and rollback capabilities.

Update to Default Plot Style
Version 1.5.7.8 also includes an update to the default plot style. This change improves the readability of plots, particularly for signals with large constant values and minimal noise.

Other Changes and Fixes
- Dynamic GUI Refresh: SweepMe! now refreshes the module GUI not only for custom driver properties but also for static fields when parameters or variables change based on conditions.
- Improved PNG Export of Plots: Plots exported during measurements now include a background, making them easier to view in dark mode image viewers.
- Legend Positioning in Plots: Manual positioning options for plot legends have been reordered and now include the lower right corner.
- CLI License Activation: Fixed an issue with license activation via the command line interface.
