SweepMe! 1.5.7.10 Released

SweepMe! Version 1.5.7.10 Released

We are excited to announce the release of SweepMe! 1.5.7.10, which brings several improvements to usability and functionality. Below is an overview of the most important changes:

New Screenshot Features

You can now capture images of your SweepMe! environment for documentation or sharing:

  • F12: Capture all screens
  • Menu “Windows”: Capture individual windows
  • Module Title Bar: Capture entire module including scrollable areas by clicking the camera icon
  • Widget Context Menu: Capture widgets

All images are saved in the new Screenshots folder under the SweepMe! Public folder, copied to the clipboard for quick pasting, and a message balloon provides direct access to the folder.

Plotting Enhancements

  • Axis Label Visibility
On small plot windows using scatter or imshow types, axis labels could move outside the visible area. Labels now remain visible regardless of plot size.
Note: Labels may still shift when resizing outside a measurement, but they refresh automatically during measurements or via the Refresh plot button.

Improved Responsiveness When Starting Measurements

  • When change tracking was enabled on large public folders, the first measurement could feel delayed before starting.
Now: Initializations are performed during application startup, so the first measurement begins more smoothly when clicking Run.

Module Updates

  • SMU Module
Compliance labels now adapt to the selected Sweep Mode. When changing modes for the first time, the previous value disappears to remind users to enter a new value. Once set, values are remembered per mode.

  • CustomFunction Module
The environment variable SWEEPME_CF_REPO now supports multiple paths using the Windows PATH format (semicolon-separated).

Additional Improvements

  • More thorough checks for invalid characters in folder and file names when saving data.
  • Dropdown selections in custom parameter boxes are now editable, supporting Parameter Syntax.
  • When pasting JSON module settings into the sequencer, SweepMe! automatically converts mismatched types to the expected format.
  • Fixed misleading error messages in debug logs when loading drivers with custom GUI parameters.
