Changes
New Example Settings
Added additional example settings WaferProber, Spectroscopy, and Semiconductor stress tests using simulated instruments. You can access these examples via Settings → Load Example. Check out the examples to explore the possibilities of SweepMe! and adapt these settings for your own measurements!
-
WaferProber: Run IV measurements on a given probeplan while controlling the temperature.
-
Spectroscopy: Measures a background spectrum, then turns on a laser and measures a new spectrum, using Calc to apply background correction.
-
Semiconductor BTI Test: Runs a BTI test, where a device is measured under stress with increasing stress time.
New Features & Enhancements
- New: Drivers can now contain dynamic GUI parameters that may depend on each other.
- Loading of drivers is now performed when they are chosen in a module, not during startup or when selecting a version in the Version Manager. This speeds up the startup for setups with large amounts of installed drivers.
- Updated the Temperature module to handle ‘reach’ consistently with other modules.
- Improved handling of widget properties.
- Updated GUI generation library for modules.
Bug Fixes
- Check for missing modules and drivers before loading a setting and correctly display all required installations. This prevents incomplete loading of settings.
- Fixed: Update the GUI of a module when the driver selection combo box is closed or the selection changes.
- Fixed: Proper cleanup of deleted modules to prevent error messages in the log.
- Fixed: Postprocessing variables of certain modules will no longer overwrite a driver’s plottype and savetype lists.
- Fixed: Accidentally editing the module label is now prevented during measurements.
- Fixed: Measurement will abort if a module encounters an error in the
process()
phase.
We hope these improvements enhance your experience with SweepMe!. As always, we appreciate your feedback and reports on any issues you encounter.
Happy Measuring!
