Keithley 2400 measurement issue

Hi Axel, I am experiencing some issues with controlling my two Keithley 2400 for FET measurements, for some reason, the measurement results look completely different by reversing the address of the Keithley 2400, this is very confusing for me as the measurement results should be the same and just the SD and Gate current should be reversed. Do you know what is causing this issue?

Hi Shu-Jen,

thanks for posting your issue in the forum.

From the images, it is difficult to say what is going on.

If I understand it correctly, you have a sequencer with two SMU modules, one for Gate and one for Drain. Normally, they have different GPIB addresses I guess.

If you swap the GPIB addresses, then you make the Drain measurement at the Gate and the Gate measurement at the Drain. Here, I would expect that the results are indeed different.

Can you maybe send a screenshot of your Sequencer or attach the setting file and could you explain the single steps you did in more detail?

Hi Axel, I realized the issue is related to the wiring that somehow was touched, Sweepme sequence is running correctly!
